Basilic Marseillais

The Marseillais Basil is a variety traditionally cultivated in Provence (South France)

It is very fragrant and typed.

The plant has medium size, subtle fragrance. Leaves are rounded and tender.

Ideal for growing in pots.

Sowing: early, in late spring, in bucket, or in place.

Location: Full sun, warmth and shelter

Soil: light and rich. Basil grows well in pot.

• A couple of flowerpots of basil in your kitchen are enough to keep the flies at bay.
• If an insect stings, rub the irritated area with a fresh leaf.
• If many insects flee basil because of its smell, beaware that butterflies and bees are attracted to it.
